Our lake may be serene to look at on the surface but there are monsters lurking below. Mirror Carp of up to 26lbs have been caught, with tales of an even bigger one that got away.
In the last year we have stocked the lake with 1500 more carp on top of the shoals of Koi carp, which are a little more docile and easier to catch than the elusive dream course fish. If you fancy going after Harry or any of his smaller friends please enquire.
Please note the health and wellbeing of all our fish is paramount and we ask you to respect this by not using keep nets, unless in a match, and ensure all your tackle is taken home with you as its not just the fish who live in the lake. An innocent strand of fishing line may become a snare to one of the birds nestling or living there.
*Please note that we do not hire out fishing equipment. We do have fishing tackle for sale at reasonable prices and can currently kit you out with a rod & reel, a landing net and landing mat for just over £40.
