Over recent years, we have stocked the lake with carp, including shoals of colourful Koi. The lake has now been re-stocked to help maintain a healthy and thriving environment for our fish.
Fishing remains free of charge for our guests. While you are still welcome to enjoy a peaceful day at the water’s edge, returning guests may notice that fishing levels are not yet what they once were as the lake continues to mature and the fish stocks establish themselves.
The wellbeing of our fish remains our top priority. Keep nets are not permitted, and we kindly ask that all tackle is taken home after use. Discarded lines and hooks can be harmful to the birds and other wildlife that share this beautiful setting.
Please note: We do not hire out fishing equipment.
However, we do have a small selection of tackle available to purchase at reasonable prices.
